Lots of things happening today. I think we will be coming home soon!!! I can hardly stand it. We are going to have one more MRI and spinal tap just to make sure that the white blood cells are going down, and then we will be home. How soon? I'm not sure we are shooting for next Friday but of course no promises. Acey did get glasses today, they don't correct his eye sight 100% but they definitely help.
Whoot! Whoot! I hope everything continues to go good.
ReplyDeleteGreat News!!!! I'm so happy and will be even happier when you are actually home. I'm always reminded of one of our horses. She got cut up real bad. I took her to the Vet where she stayed so maybe she would heal. They called a week later to see if they wanted them to put her down. We are a sentimental bunch so I went over to get her. It took a tractor to load her in the trailer. I bawled all the way home. I drove into the yard Rusty opened the gate she went running over to the other horses. It was totally weird! But she was just homesick! I know Acey's recovering will take much longer but I hope he feels as good as that horse did about being home. Love you guys! Rusty and

HOORAY!!!!! I am elated to hear this news! Keep working hard, Ace and hope to see you REAL soon. Oh, and thank goodness for some glasses to help with that eyesight for now. :) :) :) May you continue to be blessed. Jalyn, Happy Mother's Day to you this Sunday. You have been there for Acey and so far away but yet your children have obviously been cared for by a wonderful loving mother because those children have been amazing and inspiring as you and Acey have been with your coping skills/strength!!!!! I am so excited for you ALL to be together again...and soon. WELCOME HOME! & once Acey gets back home, please let us know if we can help/do anything. Know that you have a multitude of friends/family in Dietrich and surrounding areas but felt would offer all the same. Prayers and love, Dona D & Family.

ReplyDelete"I have never met a person whose greatest need was anything other than real, unconditional love. You can find it in a simple act of kindness toward someone who needs help. There is no mistaking love. You feel it in your heart. It is the common fiber of life, the flame that heals our soul, energizes our spirit and supplies passion to our lives. It is our connection to God and to each other." Elizabeth Kubler-Ross
