Update April 13th 11:11 am

Today is another busy day, Acey is getting his plasma phoresis right now and will be done in about an hour. Then he will go get another MRI of his brain and all of his spinal cord. The MRI will take about 2 hours so they are going knock Acey out. Acey said the first 3 MRI's weren't that bad but this will be his 7th MRI and he is not liking them at all, so that is why they are going to put him to sleep. After the MRI he is go down and do another spinal tap this will be his 6th one, this time they are going to take him to Radiology so they can watch through x-ray or ultra sound to make sure they are putting it in the right spot. Then it's sit and wait for the results. By tomorrow we should have some of the results back. He also had some x-rays done this morning of his lungs to make sure that he is not getting phenomena, we haven't heard what the results are. The kids are here with us, and it's so nice to have our family together even if it's just for a day.

    Good morning to ya. That is wonderful that you have the kids with you. I am sure that will boost both of your spirits. It sure would mine. :) As far as the MRI is concerned, glad to hear that they are going to let him "sleep" thru this one, especially since he has already had several. Will return later for test results. Praying and hoping. Enjoy those children. :) THAT is what IT is all about...family...love (the essence of life). Much love, Dona & family.     So glad the kids are there with you guys! Tell Jacey I missed her in class today! I'm Mr. Perron today :) Thanks for all the updates. You are loved and prayed for by sooooo many people! Poor Ace! That's a lot of MRI's and spinal taps! What a trooper he is. Talk to you soon! Love ya!

    Holy Smoke's Batman! Today is one busy day. Let Ace know I too hate mri. Praying the doctors are going to figure this out. Happy the kids are with you guys. I bet that made Acey's day having the kids there. WE LOVE THE SHAW FAMILY!

    What a grand treat it must be to have the kids there with the two of you! Thank you so much for your posts keeping us all up to date on what is happening. I have never experienced an MRI or spinal tap, but without a doubt Acey has become a pro at both! As always you, Acey and your family, the care givers and medical staff are in my prayers.
