April 4th 7:45 pm

With each new day brings new challenges and new blessings and today was no different. Acey has been loosing more and more feeling in his hands. They hurt to touch they are always cold and feel numb. We talked with the Doctors about this and they are puzzled since they aren't sure what Acey has. So they don't know if it's that he is truly loosing more mobility or if the nerves are starting to regenerate and come back. So it's just a waiting game at this point. The good thing that happened today was, Acey mission president and his wife came by to see him. That really lifted his spirits and we both enjoyed their visit. It's amazing how little acts of kindness have huge effects on people.

  3. We are thinking about you all the time! Every time I drive by your house, I think about you more. Since I've been into Twin A LOT over the past week for coupon stuff, you are thought about VERY frequently! And I check the blog four or five times a day. Thanks for updating regularly. We are so glad to know what's happening on a daily basis and you are constantly in our prayers. All our love, Steve and Wendy (and Tew boys!)
P.S. What does Acey think about college championship game? Score is Uconn 43, Butler 30 right now. Ahhhhh!!! He better be going for Butler! :)

  4. I put Acey's name in temple in Hawaii, and brought him a coconut. But they took it away at the airport, sorry. My friend Emily called me today and said that her husband's uncle was Acey's mission president. Such a small world.

  6. Hoping and praying that it is in fact that the nerves are regenerating in his hands. :) That is so thoughtful about his Mission Pres visiting with him. Sounds like Acey and your family are much loved. Keep your spirits up both of you. Wishing you the best of everything and for your trials to all turn to triumphs! Love, Dona and the Dotson Family

*Waiting for Buddy w/ Dixie the other day and watched Jacey come in from her mile run and had the thought, "Gosh, she just looks so much like a "runner", especially the position of her arms, elbows and hands. :) So focused, as well. :) Wonder where that comes from...hmmm. :)
